This month is Breast Cancer Awareness month and while the world may be pre-occupied with COVID, the real world still keeps moving and that means illnesses such as Cancer haven't gone away. In fact we have two very special shout outs today for two very special people dear to our hearts. First up the lovely Monica Von Lace from Canada. We've known for some time about her battle with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma (Blood Cancer) but have respected her privacy. However, we spoke with her at the weekend and she's happy for us to share this news with our followers and we just wanted to say we are all thinking of you Monica. I know you are currently going through treatment but you still wanted to review for us which shows you're a fighter and will beat this.

Another of our presenters is Lucinda. Now we had planned to record a podcast some time ago now, ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness month. However, the small issue of a near fatal road accident put pay to that. Thankfully though, Lucinda is now back home and starting another long recovery journey and Sophia Smith joined us as the weekend to finally record her podcast which is a moving story of her fight and survival from Breast Cancer at the tender age of only 32.

Both women, in fact even Sophia herself who had a Cancer scare a few years ago now, have all shown such courage, strength and that fighting spirit within them that we are truly honoured to have them as part of our incredible team. Everyone at Lingerie Lowdown and I'm sure all our members and followers will join us in wishing them all the very best. We know you both can beat what life has thrown at you and come out the other side stronger for it.
