Today, we share the final chapter in our Montréal Fetish Weekend 2024 journey and in many ways, we’ve saved the most intimate and powerful moment for last. This piece began with a chance meeting between Zoe Page and professional rigger Vagabound, first introduced in a podcast earlier this year. What followed, in the quiet early hours of the weekend, was a deeply personal rope session unlike anything Zoe has ever captured on film.

Zoe Page is of course well known for her professional performances in Shibari and bondage collaborations with other creators for the camera that's choreographed. But this was something entirely different. There was no audience, no performance. For the first time, the camera witnessed Zoe not as a performer, but simply as herself, present, open and fully in the moment. She switched off, let go, and placed her trust in the process and in Vagabound.

It was raw, unscripted, and deeply human, a moment that after the event, she was not sure if to share and one she reflected on deeply before deciding to do so. We’re honoured she did. This is how we close our look back to the Montréal Fetish Weekend 2024, not with spectacle but with truth. And as we begin planning our return, having been officially invited back by event director Eric for 2025, we offer this final, quiet gift to you all.
